How can a partnership with AAC HealthCare add value to your business?
As a Business Partner, AAC HealthCare brings access to an exclusive set of corporate advantages. From Government to private industry – many markets are incentivized to increase the contract dollars awarded to disadvantaged businesses, such as Alaskan Native Corporations (ANC).
There are many advantages in doing business with a Native Alaskan Enterprise.
Certified 8(a) Disadvantaged Small Business
The Federal Government’s annual goal
To award a minimum of five percent of all contracting dollars to small disadvantaged 8(a) businesses.
The Indian Incentive Program (Department of Defense)
On DOD contracts, Prime contractors who utilize Native Alaskan subcontractors, such as AAC, are eligible for a 5% cash rebate from the Federal Government for the amount paid to the Native enterprise.
Alaskan Native Corporation “Super 8(a) SDB”
Alaskan Native Corporations are small, disadvantaged businesses eligible to receive unlimited sole source awards that cannot be protested. This law, which affords ANCs their “Super 8(a)” status, exempts ANCs from the dollar size limitations attributed to all other 8(a) direct awards. Additionally, awards made to ANC’s cannot be challenged by other vendors to the SBA, any other administrative forum, or as a contract protest. For further information, please visit SBA.gov
Tribal and ANC 8(a) firms are eligible to receive sole source 8(a) contracts regardless of dollar size, with no upper limit, while all other 8(a) firms may not receive sole source contracts in excess of $4 million for services, and $7 million for manufacturing.
Diversity and Inclusion are core guiding principles at AAC HealthCare. Our broad, diverse supplier network reflects the unique diversity of our stakeholders and consumers.
